VWM4108 Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) Controller of DC Motor & Light
PWM controller replaces the resistor circuit
This Pulse Wave Modulation controller (PWM) is a general-purpose DC output power control, replaces the resistor circuit for controlling the speed of DC motors, and is frequently used as an efficient light dimmer, such as a small DC fan, or pump controller.
Energy efficient with zero to full speed control
By varying the pulse on-off ratio the average on time is also varied from 0-100 percent. It is energy efficient with zero to full speed control providing full torque even in low-speed running of the motor. As a light dimmer, it is capable of smooth control similar to the speed control of the motor from zero to one hundred percent full output.
The main advantage over the conventional resistor controller is it consumes much less power and it is much cooler than a resistor controller. In motor application, it generates more torque and starts the motor more easily.
Smooth control similar to speed control
This controller is suitable for any 12V DC system up to 8A direct current loads like motors, lamps, heaters & LEDs (with current limiting resistors). The electric motor can start smoothly at low speed with this PWM controller.
Epoxy potted PCBA splashproof
The whole PCBA is potted in epoxy and with a special splash-proof tuning potentiometer making this controller weatherproof.
