1: Windows OS laptop supports MST (Multi-Stream Transport), which means that connecting two external monitors can display different contents.
2: macOS laptop only supports SST (Single-Stream Transport) in USB-C Display Port (DP Alt-mode). The MacBook with an M1, M2 and M3 CPU currently only supports one external monitor display. Connecting two external monitors will only display duplicated contents.
